JOSH LE ROUX FIRED UP FOR ZWARTKOPS

After a two-month break, race week has finally arrived! Josh le Roux will be in action at Zwartkops Raceway this weekend (20 May 2023) as he tackles round 3 of the GTC Championship in his Chemical Logistics Audi S3.

“I am looking forward to the first Zwartkops round of the season, as it is the track that I practice at the most regularly. I have the most saloon car seat time here and am feeling confident of a good showing,” explained Josh.

2023 is a learning season for Josh after the 2022 Investchem Formula 1600 Champion made the move from single seaters to saloon cars. Despite the big jump, Josh has achieved some great results already this year, taking overall victory at Kyalami in February.

“It has been a tough year, but I am enjoying every minute of it. The team have been great in welcoming me and have been working hard to ensure that I get on the pace. I have been working hard to get myself where I need to be and I am sure it won’t be long before I am challenging for podium positions,” commented Josh.

Motorsport is an exceptionally rewarding sport, but also a very expensive one to be involved in and Josh’s journey would not be possible without the backing of his sponsors; Master Stairs, Investchem Chemical Logistics, Vitro Frameless Glass, MS Technic – Sparco Store Africa and New Heights. Josh also welcomes African Heating onboard as a new sponsor from this weekend.

“I am truly blessed to be able to follow my dreams and receive such amazing support from my family and sponsors. Thank you to each and every one of you,” he concluded.

Spectators are welcome and both races will be streamed live on the Extreme Festival Facebook page and Youtube channel.
