JOSH LE ROUX ANXIOUS TO END 2023 ON A HIGH NOTE
Josh Le Roux is back in South Africa and ready to end the year on a high note. The 2022 Investchem Formula 1600 Champion had a good showing in the Walter Hayes Trophy, although the weekend ended with being helped off track. Josh’s pace was good and he will be looking to carry this into the weekend’s the BMW M Performance Series finale, at Zwartkops Raceway tomorrow (18 November 2023).
Today’s practice sessions have been positive with Josh featuring in the top of the class B timesheet. He clearly has the pace to challenge for the win and will be hoping for some reliability to see him to the end of the weekend.
“Third time lucky! We have had some technical issues with the BMW in the last two rounds, but I am confident that the team have these sorted now and we can go out there and challenge for the win,” expressed Josh.
“Although the results don’t show it, it has been an incredible year and I am grateful for all the opportunities afford to me. Massive thank you to my sponsors; Vitro Frameless, Master Stairs and Wrap Lab, MS Technic – Sparco Store Africa and African Heating. This one is for you!” He concluded.
Racing will be streamed live, but fans are urged to make the trip to Zwartkops to enjoy the weather, atmosphere and racing!
