BACK TO THE COAST FOR JOSH LE ROUX

Josh le Roux and his WCT Engineering team are in Gqeberha this weekend (17 June) for the fourth round of the 2023 Global Touring Car Championship.

The Aldo Scribante Race Circuit is a tight, narrow, 2.48km track, which demands a fair amount of driver precision. Another characteristic of the costal circuit is the amount of spectator support that the competitors enjoy, with racing fans lining the track on race day.

Whilst Josh has raced at Aldo Scribante before, he has never done so in a saloon car, so the weekend will be another learning curve for the 2022 Investchem Formula 1600 Champion.

“I am always excited to be behind the wheel of the Audi so relish the opportunity to race this weekend. The circuit is very fast and things can go wrong very quickly, so it is important for me to stay 100% focused and committed,” expressed Josh.

“As always, I am grateful to my family, team and sponsors for standing behind me on this journey,” he concluded.

Josh is proudly sponsored by Master Stairs, Investchem Chemical Logistics, Vitro Frameless Glass, MS Technic – Sparco Store Africa, New Heights and African Heating.

Racing will be streamed live on Facebook and Youtube on 17 June. The first race will take place at 13h10 and the second at 16h40.
